Industrial sites

Industrial sites are the synapses of social neurons

Extract from the exhibition catalogue (2009):

"For the Musée de la Briqueterie in Langueux (Côtes d'Armor), the artist meticulously observed the brick walls, the remains of the factory (the kiln, the pits, the coal shed) and looked for traces of tools or graffiti made by the workers. Human clues are no doubt sometimes replaced by traces of fire in the alchemy of firing.

He collected local materials: sand from the shore and crushed brick. He illustrates the theme of solidarity by relocating a production process, resizing industrial traces in a plastic reading. At a time when Western recession is imminent, should we return to the sources of the system from which we came to imagine another one?
